Thinking about you Grandma. We had a great dinner at your home with the family. We were missing you. Looking at your chair and your stuff on the fridge. Anyhow, Thought of your smile and your laughter today and it brought a smile to my face in todays chaos of life. I love and miss you! Tina Close

Condolences to Yvonne's Family/ Dee Backe (Swap-meet neighbor)
I meet Yvonne about three years ago after the El Cajon Swap-Meet closed. My SM neighbor had recently moved to Oregon and I was desperately looking for a "nice" person to sell next to me. In came Yvonne, driving up and down the aisles looking for a space without an ":R" (reserved) on it, looking a little lost and forelorn. I thought to myself, "that looks like a nice lady" so I walked up to her car and said, "Mamm, would you like to park next of me?" she said "OK" and that was the beginning of our relationship. Little did I know what a wise thing I did that day as Yvonne was not only my "mentor" (she really knew how to market the mdse) but she was also a wonderful friend. I enjoyed all her stories, her jokes, her funny expressions and just being with her. She was a delight. You are all so fortunate in that you had Yvonne in your lives all of your lives whereas she was only in minte for a short time but she made such an inpact on me. I will miss her so much as will all the people who knew her at the Santee Swap Meet. Everyone that I talked this past week-end asked me to please pass on their condolences to you. Some of the people were Yvonne's customers that I hadn't met before and they made of point of coming to my space to share their sorrow at her passing. This past week, whenever I go to the grocery store, I can't help but think of Yvonne when I see Gumdrops or Pudding Cups, two of her favorite things to eat.
Great Aunt Yvonne / Tina Cota (Great Aunt)
I'm sad to say I didn't know my Great Aunt Yvonne, that I know of. I may've when I was a tiny tot. What I do know is, family from my father's side of the family has always had big hearts about them. My dad is, his mother was, his sister is, his brother is, and I'm sure his aunt Yvonne was, as well. I wish I had memories to share with everyone about Great Aunt Yvonne, but my dad would be more informative on this than I would, I believe. I just know she's up there, at peace with the Lord at last.

YVONNE-MY FRIEND AND CONFIDANT / Goldie Skinner (Friend and Confidant)
We talked, we laughed, we argued, and, yes, sometimes we even fought. We shared TV, stories, and our opinions on what everyone in the world should do. She made me chicken noodle soup and I made her popcorn. We did all the things that friends do, and that one friend misses when the other moves on. I will always have my memories, and will always hold you dear in my heart. Enjoy your wings!
My Grandma/ Tina Winkler (Grandson's wife and friend)
Grandma Yvonne was not only my husband's grandmother but one of my best friends. We could talk about anything. She was always full of good advice for my sales job. I am so glad that I was able to go to the swap meet with her and sale my products next to her. So many people will miss her there and everywhere. The last 17 years of my life with Grandma Yvonne have been great with her. Yes, we had trials but tribulations too. I sure am going to miss her. Sondra will miss her too. Mother's day will not be the same. Thank you for letting me be a part of your life Yvonne. XOXO Tina Close
